Bethard Group Limited was founded in 2012 by the owners of RakeTech Group. The company has been, is and aspires to be a lot of things.
One of the things Bethard is most well known for from its past is their connection to the world famous football player Zlatan Ibrahimović. In 2018 the Swedish soccer player became a shareholder in the betting company after his announcement to withdraw from playing together with the Swedish national team. However, this is no longer the case as the previous owners and Zlatan made an exit in 2021 by selling Bethard Group Limited to Esports Entertainment Group. The purchase prices was set to €16 million ($19.5 mil) plus a 12% net gaming revenue share for two years.
The company now aspires to become is the world leading sportsbook brand and platform company. Yes you’ve read that right, Bethard is both a operator and a white label provider. And the group offers a state of the art technical platform solution to its B2B customers (white labels). This has attracted more than than 15 well renowned casino and betting brands to operate on it’s platform.
